These pencils are of the harder type that is excellent for brows. For eyelid application - best to warm them a bit for application. They deliver a smooth application that is long wearing. Very opaque for a rich finish.

I have been using charcoal and thought I would need grey in a few months. The charcoal is not as dark as it used to be, and the grey is darker than the charcoal. I hope I can make them work to give me natural-looking eyebrows. My eyebrows are very sparse. I was very glad to find your company. I could not find any eyebrow pencils in grey or charcoal before Makeup Mania and your charcoal eyebrow pencils. I am 82 years old and still need eyebrows for my face to look complete. Thanks!

The La Femme Espresso eye pencil is by far the best I’ve ever used. I haven't tried the black yet, but I’m sure it’s just as great, and it says it’s waterproof! I don’t see the La Femme name on either pencil, but whoever makes it, La Femme carries it. I love La Femme products — the eye shadow and loose powder, especially!

Love them. The taupe is a perfect color for those brows and a great dance between black and brown for liner. Also great to sketch out a design before committing to a black eyeliner.
